Time to Critique my list and weights!
I leave in a week, my new 24L pack instead of a 40L for last three camino's, weighs in at 13 pounds without water. There are stores in Spain, i bring nothing extra, i have never broke a shoe lace, carry a $.99 platic rain poncho, has worked always, the Camino will provide- Rich Stroot

Bottles, gives you a reason to pause, look at nature, have a nice drink of water, or if you have a partner swap bottles so you drink from their pack, etc- Rich Stroot

Flying with poles in carryon.
I used a mailing tube, checked them then kept the tube on my pack where you normally put a tent. The last trip to walk Germany, flew out of Madrid, no one even questioned me but i still have them in the tube if i get questions- Rich Stroot
