Or...if you're not sure...go and practice local to where you live before you commit to a big trip out. Trial all your gear, know the weather forecast, know the temperature, get out and practice. That way you will know what works and what doesn't. Don't be afraid of mistakes, learn from them...- Richard keates

Suggestions for Lightening my Backpack for a 6-day Camino Walk
That is a lot of gear. Way too much clothing. For a few days out hiking/backpacking.. ditch all spare clothing... maybe 1 pair socks .. and wash as you go.... rivers.. streams.. public toilet etc ..- Richard keates
