I agree with the moderator. A forum is not the place to be sharing medical advice and spreading unnecessary fear and anxiety.

I was buying a sleeping bag liner in Anaconda yesterday (a camping store in Australia) and saw the frisbees at the checkout. I was very tempted to include one in my Camino kit! I still might.

I think it's just the way we're built. I've done a lot of hiking and my pack is always light enough I never use a hip belt. I find it uncomfortable. A hip belt for me is just extra weight to carry.
Just bought a 35L backpack for the Camino Frances in June. Purposely bought one without a hip...
I'm researching backpacks at the moment, and the Osprey Stratos 34 is at the top of my list.
My only concern is it's a heavy backpack weighing 1.4kg.
Anyone else used the Stratos 34?
