    Bourbon and cigars

Sorry to bring back your haunting memories 😂. Only people who smoke good cigars understand the draw to it…definitely not for everyone that’s for sure. But to ease your mind, cigar smoking (at least mine and all the people I know) is done outside either among like minded people or alone, away...

    Bourbon and cigars

Four Roses is definitely a Kentucky Bourbon. There are at least 4 different versions, the cheapest version isnt the best but the others are ok.

No trouble, just restating my original question

    Bourbon and cigars

Well, thanks for all your input. Kind of got away from my original question though…I was just wondering if bourbon and cigars were readily available along the Camino Frances. Don’t care for wine don’t like cigarettes…I just enjoy a good bourbon and a nice cigar occasionally.

    I could make-do with a little Jack Daniel’s!

    Bourbon and cigars

I am a bourbon and cigar lover! I plan on walking my Camino this summer and was wondering if the bars & restaurants along the Camino Frances had Bourbon available? I am not fond of wine and wouldn't mind relaxing with a bourbon on occasion after a long day's walk. Also, what are the "rules"...

    OK guys, what underwear?

Check out All Citizens brand. I use the Apex 2 boxer briefs. They are comfy, don’t ride up, quick dry, don’t stink after a long days hike, and they have a “ball pouch” so the boys aren’t rubbing anywhere. They aren’t cheap but I think they are worth it.

    July 2024?

At times it feels like it is coming fast and other times it seems like forever! Been planning it for a while and Covid and other things stood in the way...but this is the year!

I will be walking my first Camino beginning on July 4. Walking the Camino Frances from SJPDP to Finisterre and Muxia if I have time.

    Good to know! Thanks

    Summer clothes

I will use a poncho rather than a rain jacket so that really wouldn’t work for warmth. I will maybe look for something a little warmer that is easy to pack or get something there if needed. Thanks!

    Summer clothes

Yes, I will have the bottoms to the zip off pants (at least one set of bottoms anyway). That is probably a good idea…just to buy something or find something there in case I decide I need it. Thanks!

    Summer clothes

I just want to say thanks to Ivar and all the people who post and respond with such great info. I will be starting my first Camino from SJPDP on July 3 and finish at Santiago de Compostela/Finisterre in mid August. My question is about particular clothing. I will have zip off hiking pants and...

    Pamplona during San Fermin

Yes, that is what I am hoping to do, but I haven’t been able to get in touch with them to see about booking (maybe too early?). I have tried email and a message on WhatsApp but nothing back yet.
