No matter what you pack there will come a time while you are walking that you will know you packed too much. That being said, the only questionable item from my point of view is the sleeping bag. Sleeping sheet could replace or perhaps it is a very light summer bag.
I found that when I did my pack reconsideration in Pamplona this was one of the items I sent home. I used maps on my phone but only at the end of the day as I was heading into the town, or on the very rare times I missed an arrow. The arrow system is excellent--particularly on the Frances.
They give me hot feet. On one long tropical walk I tore the lining out because my feet were so hot and damp. I find that when it is really wet your feet get wet anyway because the water wicks down your socks.
We did our first Camino when I was 63. No planning other than giving ourselves 45 days to complete. In the end we did it in 37. We walked until we were tired and then chose an albergue. We were fortunate to have both the time and the funds to use this strategy.

We used Orange for both Camino trips. Cheap with lots of data and refillable at most supermarkets and or Orange stores. Sim works in Spain, France, Portugal and England.
Pilgrims used to need Templars to save them from bandits, so we can now count ourselves lucky that the fire department and other waiting responders come to our aid when we may have hurt ourselves. I would always choose the over-zealous rather than reticent to be responsible for saving me.
