Personally I would not walk in midWinter! But obviously you have walked in winter conditions before. I would definitely walk the Porto to Santiago part. I walked this route last year and my blog is Ourwayportuguesecaminho.wordpress.com. I took a pair of pantyhose with me and they were incredibly useful as they definitely help on those slightly chilly evenings. Also a silk scarf as it kept my neck nice and warm. Obtaining credentials/passport Lisbon
