I was fortunate to get the “golden ticket “ in October 2018. It was served in the restaurant and was delicious—they made accommodation for my gluten allergy, and also for a fellow pilgrim who was vegetarian

That is the route that I took ( April of this year) Fewer people going opposite direction Muxia-Finisterre. Loved this walk. I stretched it out 5 days to Finisterre and stopped in Lires overnight before heading to Muxia. Found Muxia more relaxing than Finisterre and lovely place to end before...
Some had blankets, some didn’t—I stayed in private Albergues, not Municipals. Pulled out my down blanket in a couple private rooms as well—this was between 7 April-20 April
