The one thing I should have done before I left for the Camino
On modern cars, car batteries tend to go flat after about six weeks of not being used as they drain out through the clock and the theft alarm. So I disconnect the earth cable at the battery. (Not the live terminal because if the spanner accidentally touches the chassis, the battery will explode...- sreevesjc

Crazy things people do in the last 100 km
Night time walks are not such a big deal. Here at the LDWA (Long Distance Walkers Association), we have an annual 100 mile (161km), that has been going for 50 years.
