    After fleeing the hoards on the Frances, the Ingles allowed us to have that meditative yet challenging Camino we had envisioned. And the sense of completion validated our choice. DO it!

    I love this time of year!

    Boy we got lost a lot on the South Downs from Cantebury Cathedral to Dover. Poorly marked and not much for lodging. BUT the special pilgrim blessings at the Cathedral was worth it!

    One full day in Lourdes..two night stay...it's a lot to take in. Then train to St Jean via Bayonne. The walk from Lourdes is about 100 miles and not as well marked as it could be.
