To check or not check your backpack?
If you have to check your backpack, you might want to put an Apple Air Tag inside—it will give you GPS location of your backpack in case it is lost. I do this with any luggage when I travel now. ( These were not available when I did the Camino. Fortunately, nothing lost).- TheFlagator1980
