I've been waiting 15 years to do this. I retired in 2020 and was supposed to start, but.....C O V I D. Then I needed a knee replacement. Finally, I just said, "I have to just go or it'll never happen". I bought my airfare that day!
My husband was supposed accompany me, but after being full time RVers for 2+ years, I resolved to leave him home. LOL
He's a 'hurry-up-and-get-there' person and I'm the total opposite. For me, it's about the journey not the destination. This is my Camino and nobody is going to ruin it.
I'm packed and ready to go. I can't believe it's almost here! I'm really going to do it!
