    Foncebadón to Ponferrada

Hi Tom I did consult Rome2Rio and they have suggested the only option is a taxi from Ponferrada so I might just start at Ponferrada instead and spend an extra day exploring the city before starting the Camino Invierno. Cheers for info on cost of taxis. Thanks Tony

    Foncebadón to Ponferrada

I am trying to find out if there is a bus between Ponferrada to Foncebadón. I am travelling from Santiago in April 2024 to start at Foncebadan but looking at Rome2Rio all public transport seems to stop at Ponferrada. Does anybody know if this is true?

I am planning to walk the Camino Aragones in July 2024 before linking to the Camino Frances and pick up in Burgos where I left off this year and just looking for any information on accommodation, cost, terrain, busy or not and if there is a map as detailed as the maps John Brieley produced.

Short gaiters with trail runners on CF

Great that you walked in Scotland it's a stunning location to walk in maybe not so much when ticks are about!! Gaiters are just part of my walking/running regime so would feel lost without them.
