    I'm pushing off from SJPP on 9/18, walking to Orrison for a short first day. From Maryland, will turn 61 before i reach Santiago. Perhaps I'll meet some of you along the way. Jim

    How About Work?

    I am from the US, will be taking my 4 weeks annual vacation plus up to an additional 4 weeks unpaid leave of absence. I plan to complete my camino in 6 weeks. My boss and colleagues are very supportive

    TSA news !!!!!

    Yeh, I lost a TSA approved corkscrew while transiting CDG in Paris, but this is good news for my Black Diamond poles this summer.

    Best Guidebook for historical/cultural/architecture etc

    With the time and money invested in this trip, I want the information in the "big book" while I am on pilgrimage, so I have removed the part not dealing with Camino Frances, the covers and some of the index. All that's left to go are the 3/4 inch margins.

    I recently downloaded the app. I like the idea of crowd sourcing the information, hope it will develop further. My first camino starts 15/9/13 God willing.
