Has anyone here started early April on the Camino Frances?
Hi, I started from st jean this year 1st April - the first official day the napoleon route opens…but it was closed due to snow/bad rain. It was busy as it was the opening day. Then there was Easter - it was very busy the days up to Pamplona due to so many pilgrims plus the Spanish ones who take...- Vasser

Albergues full in Orisson - bad time to start?
i tried booking orisson just now for saturday night - they replied quickly saying it wasnt open...im not sure if that meant we are full up...or if its not open at all- Vasser
