Be aware about 2 kms before arriving to alcuescar, just after passing saint john's cross. A hostel-owner with belief in private initiative has painted over (with yellow paint!) arrows pointing to the refugio and instead made arrows pointing to his hostal, a deviation of 3k and pricy. Grimaldo deviation
Starting VdlP April 1st 2014 from Seville. Walked in 2012, and remember I ignored new route caused by right-of-way-dispute over finca-land somewhere near Grimaldo, and walked the old path in peace.
