    I took a flour-sack tea towel each time, kind of like linen. Very absorbent, very light, dries fast, washed it frequently. Can't stand microfibre. Did appreciate proper bath towels when available!

    That's what I took, and froze in April/May. And I'm a Canadian who sleeps with windows open year round. It all depends on if you sleep hot or cold, how cold and wet you may have gotten during the day, and if the hostel supplies heat, hot water, and blankets. Brrrr. I could do with a down...

    I've done 2 caminos in my Vasque boots, 1400 km so far. They look great, planning a third with them. Haven't even needed to replace the laces.
