Hi Lucy I wear boots Summer and Winter. I use Cotswold Outdoor who have a great boot fitting service. I have slightly wide feet too (no bunions though) and I bought Keen Galleo Mid WP boots. They have been perfect.- Jacqueline17

Nancy, I have an Osprey Ariel 55 which I used walking the Camino del Norte. It's a bit heavy to start with at just over 2 kg. My total weight when packed was about 9 kg plus water each day.
