    Whichever one you choose, choose Gregory, and not because its' my son's name! I'm slightly "older" and the suspension was what sold me. I really never felt as if I had a pack on my shoulders. It was all on my hips. As for what you put in it, the less the better.

    The stability of NB is really their strong point. And they have a wide toe which cuts down on blisters. Everyone has their favorite but before you decide you really ought to give them a trial run.

    I know what you're referring to. This is just a SINGLE sleeve cut from a piece of tubular foam and then cut out so that it fits your big toe.

    I have a bunion and my podiatrist gave me a very simple foam sleeve to put over it. It absorbs all the friction without the need for a liner. No blister on the bunion either.

    At last count there were 19 replies and all somewhat different. Here's another! One pair of socks, keep them dry, don't take off your boots until you're "home", and put your feet in cold water at the end of the day = no blisters.
