Rather than hang around in Biarritz for the late train on Monday 28th May, I'm organising my own transport from the airport to St Jean, scheduled to depart at 16.00. I'm waiting to hear back from http://www.expressbourricot.com/ on their availability. But if anyone would like to bunk in, its on a sliding scale so the minimum cost would be 33EUR which I figure beats a hotel room in St Jean and arriving at 22.30 for an early start.
