I thought this was going to be a thread about that charming little village a day before Burgos. Nice looking spot but too early in the day for me to stop.

Anyway a sprightly mid-40 something here. Four decades of Camino-longing ahead of me then, with the help of God.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
If the date was 2016 I could have added my 85 year old father-in-law on the Via de la Plata.

Lots of over 80s, as I keep saying to a 69 year old who goes to the gym daily and runs 5km daily, bit boohboohs the C.

Walked with at least two this year on VDLP. One was 84, with a bad knee. The other was 82, with a quadruple bypass 2 years ago.

The C. is not a very good "meat market" , but a very encouraging an uplifting experience.

I did meet a couple of very rude and grumpy older people lately on the way, btw, so don't use age as an excuse for that please!
