Albergues Camino del Norte help

Is it true public albergues are not open in October along the Camino del Norte?
 
Camino Way markers in Bronze
The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Finished the complete Camino del Norte on October 13 and yes the municipal albergues are open. Currently on the primitivo and they are open also.
