Buen Camino Beatrice
I’ve really enjoyed travelling along with you Via your posts. Some gorgeous pics along the way.
Enjoy your final night.
Well the body said walk. It was "me" who said let's just enjoy Fisterra this time, a fancy hotel and a great dinner. My legs are quite restless after just 15.9 and then 7 more cruising back to town and some shopping plus finding the hotel. But I'm learning to lay still as well, currently in a bath. I would probably have to force my self into a bus tomorrow instead of Muxía. I love walking but also need to get my self homeIt’s a wize person who knows when enough is enough. Our body will certainly tell us if we will listen to it. Wize choice.
We all have different natural paces. Mine is fast. I have visited Muxía before and wanted for a reason do sea to sea in 40 days, and adding Muxía in there would have been to much. And I need to learn to drop things and this time it was Muxía.Wow, congratulations on your Camino........I also walked to the end of the world this June, 2018...and went to Muxia first as I realised there's a finality mentally with the town of Finisterre. How does one walk fast? I'm such a slow paced walker! I get to meet
Everyone over a day as they all pass me by.
And that was the same for the whole 920 klms. this May/ June.
Love
I hadn't planned to go to Fisterra again but then I realized that I could do sea to sea in 40 days and the legs was up for more walking. So yesterday I left SdC after getting my compostela at around 13:15 and walked out to Negreira in 3 h and 44 min. Last time I walked here I was so tired due to my anemia. I found it really hard that time. I enjoyed it so much more this time when the uphills didn't feel like they were about to kill me.
Today I started in Negreira at 07:50 and after about 1 km I cought up with a woman from Italy and one from Uruguay. I usually don't walk with people as they walk so slow that I start to wobble. But they kept up with a decent pace for 8-9 km before they said "now we need to rest, you go in your speed" and I sped up to my normal pace. They were funny and I wish them the best. So I marched all my way to Cee (52.7 km) because the weather was so nice and legs were with me. Had planned to stop in Hospital after 39 km but I failed as usualDid a stop after 21 km in the first bar in Lamelas for some "lunch" A lovely tarta de Santiago, an icecream and tea and Coke. An Aquarius stop with a lovely chat with an Englishman in Olivares and a quick Aquarius stop in Logoso. Then that fabolous route between the Fisterra/Muxía selection roundabout and Cee. More beautiful than I remembered and the first view of the Atlantic and Cabo was as gorgeous as last time even in a haze.
But tomorrow I have to decide.
1. Stay in Fisterra and do it with style in Hotel O Semaforo (quite expensive). It is just money...
2. Stay in Fisterra in a cheaper hotel for instance Hotel Rusticó Spa.
3. Walk to Muxía as I LOVE that village. 55 km in total tomorrow if I go out to the cabo. Spend a night there but where?
4. Take the bus from Fisterra in the afternoon.
5. Just put my feet in the Atlantic here in Cee and take the bus from here ;-)

So here it ends for me and Ariel. Decided not to go to Muxía this time. A part of my reason to do this camino was to talk my self into saying no, don't overdo things and learn to be happy with good enough. And just 1500 km to Fisterra and the zero marker is good enough ;-)
Thank you for being with me. Now I'll see where to stay.
Ps it was really cold in the water.View attachment 47912

Unfortunately not Rev , that hotel is very exclusive and way beyond my humble buget .... in fact they whole capo fisterra is a bit of a tourist trap with the constant flow of buses etc and overpriced trinkets .... .
I did not. Stayed at Hotel Rústico Spa instead. And I loved it. Top picture view from my room in the afternoon. The left lower picture in the morning and the last their great breakfast with glutenfree options. Affordable luxury and with bathtub in the room. I laid there for an hour.Did you stay at the Hotel O Semaforo?
