Hi - going on your first Camino and nervous about walking alone and you are looking for a safe person to go with?
I recommend walking with Rick Astley! You absolutely know that ....

With the exception of ankle biters, the camino is quite a safe sort of adventure, but an adventure all the same. It's wonderful that we can go alone and arrive together.

Hilarious, David! Thank the Universe that you didn't put up the link to the Rick Astley video with that earworm of a song! Millions of people have been tricked into that! I wonder how many Forum members would have been "rick rolled" if you had put up the link!

In all seriousness though, there are first-timers who do have reservations and fears about setting off on their own largely because they've never done it before. It's the fear and uncertainty of the unknown.

I would like to share my own story http://mymeseta.com/the-fear-of-the-unknown/ and encourage anyone who has fear to do it, especially on your own. The journey changed my life.
