Ideal pocket guides for during & after your Camino. Each weighs only 1.4 oz (40g)!
You need to take the bus from the Airport to the Bus Terminus in Bilbao Centre. I seem to remember that there are one or two direct trips per day to Logrono - it may be an option to travel through Pamplona , this may be quicker depending on what the times of the direct bus is.

I took the ALSA bus from Santander to Logroño last year, it passed through Bilbao bus station. From memory they are about every two hours. Cost about 20 Euro

Hello, Paul, i will be doing the reverse trip mid June. Will go by train. Seem to be about 4 trains a day Logroño to Bilbao so i assume similar Bilbao to Logroño. Hope this helps. Ferga

You can book Alsa for Santander-Logrono, but not Bilbao-Logrono! On the termibus they will tell you the connection does not exist! So you either accept it or you have to buy the ticket from Santander (and pay more).

From Bilbao Termibus you have some connections here: http://cuadrabuslineas.com/horarios-y-frecuencias/
about 2h and 10€. The citybus takes about 1/2 hour and starts every 30min.

I don't think you can beat the price of cuadrabus, but going first to Pamplona, Santo Domingo or Vitoria is still an alternative.
Leaving Bilbao Airport with http://Pesa.net could have some sense if you want to go to Pamplona (bus to San Sebastian, change). Unfortunately I don't know about a direct service to Vitoria-Gasteiz, which would be less detour to Logrono.
