bus to astorga

I need to know how close/far the airport in Santiago is from the bus station. I need to buy a ticket for the bus to Astorga, but don't know if it is reasonable that I could catch a bus that leaves 50 minutes after my flight arrives or must I wait until the night bus (leaving me to arrive in astorga in the middle of the night)? Does someone have this information?

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
is it info about bus from Madrid to Astorga you are looking for? there's a night bus at 2400 every day that arrives at Astorga at 0415.
There's a bus shuttle service by aAsa from T4 Barajas to the central bus station in Madrid that connects you to the Astorga bus.
If you arrive at T4 50 minutes is tight but safe, it'll be shorter if you take only handcarry pack.
Santiago airport is 25-30 minutes by bus from city center and bus station, taxi will be faster of course.

From the airport, you can catch a bus to the bus station or into the center of town, and walk.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
