- Walked the Camino Frances in 2012 with my father.
Hi Everybody,
I just joined this forum today, so please excuse me if this topic has already been discussed. My father and I did the Camino Frances back in 2012. We are considering doing the northern route at some point in 2015. I did have a couple questions regarding the terrain and the location of the route. I've heard that much of the walking route is on asphalt? Is that correct? Also, is much of the route along the freeway? If one or both of these are true, about what percentage is on asphalt and along the freeway? Thank you! Buen Camino!
