Camino del Norte or Via de la Plata in October

Time of past OR future Camino

I walked the Camino Frances from Roncesvalles in March of this year. I always thought of walking a Camino when I have a large amount of vacation time so I could walk the "complete" (whatever that is) route. It didn't really occur to me just to walk for a couple of weeks but as I have two weeks off in October and I've felt a pull to return to the Camino ever since I"ve been back.... Probably nothing will come of it due to air prices from the U.S. but...I'm considering possibly walking the Camino del Norte (maybe from Irun to Santander) in October or the via de la Plata (from Sevilla to wherever I'd get in two weeks). Any thoughts or suggestions --especially from those who have walked both of these routes--especially in the autumn. I imagine it would be a lovely time to walk either of the routes.
Thanks for any input. It might not come to pass but nevertheless it is exciting to think about. I already have loose plans to walk the Camino ortugues in spring 2009 with friends that I met on the Camino Frances this last spring so probably that is the more likely plan.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
You could do the Camino Primitivo from Oviedo in 14 days.
