Thanks so much @notion900 for this. I walked the Salvador earlier this year over 4 days.
Enjoyed it immensely, but would have enjoyed it far more if I'd had these notes to comprehend the full historical/religious significance. (I'd just completed the walk up from Lisbon and had a week to spare - so took a train from SdC to Leon).
My plan for 2018 will include the San Salvador again but over 7 days, so that I can savour the panoramic views and the significance of the route - while re-introducing myself to Cidre & Asturian Stew
