I am planning on walking from Porto to Santiago in May next year. Can anyone let me know if it is hot at that time of the year? Thanks for any advice.

Weather varies. You can find statistical averages online. It could be hot and dry, it could rain. Likely, you will experience more than one type of weather.

May CAN be very hot - up to 35 degs.
You need to allow for all sorts in Galicia!!
