I've just come through there and thought the problem was before Estella. Whatever it has been hard slog up until yesterday, at Los Arcos when things improved.

I edited the title and message to change between Estella and Villatuerta into between Villatuerta and Estella.

The Camino runs from Villatuerta to Estella, the river runs from Estella in the direction of Villatuerta. But what's most important is that you will be walking away from it. Buen camino.

Just fyi, if you stand on this bridge and look to your right there used to be a 3 legged horse corralled there.
