Credencial explanation

Stamp for your starting point. Unless you’re starting from somewhere special, ignore it and just collect sellos as you go. You’ll need all the space there is, and more, as you go. On a full Camino Frances I’ve used four complete credentials every time - but it’s a ‘thing’ for me.

Whenever I’ve got an additional credencial from one of the local associations along the route they’ve produced an unbelievably large stamp and filled the big box with great ceremony.

I tried to get a stamp from my local church in the UK to no avail.
