SYates posted info on it a few years ago now and I’d love to have the courage to try some of it.
My German is only at raw beginner stage - how did you manage with language?

Hi @OzAnnie, I am a not-so-raw beginner with German, too. Years ago I did a one-semester intensive course in German. I learnt just enough to get by. A pilgrims language needs are basic. They are the same in every country, in every language. One repeats the same simple questions and answers day by day. It doesn't take long to become fluent in Pilgrim-speak.
