Why did you bother? You are already there! Where will you now need the QR code??Just flew into Paris yesterday from the States. Had some angst about converting my US Covid card in to an EU QR code. The pharmacy at terminal 2F did it for me in about 10 minutes. It is located near the first Air France check in area. The cost is 36E.
As a side note I found it very easy setting up and registering my Orange SIM card on my iPhone. The experience with Express Bourricort was excellent as usual for the quick shuttle from Biarritz to SJPdP. The snow on the Napoleon Route is not expected to be passable until Saturday. Good luck to everyone. Oh, masks are not often seen now in SJPdP.
Thanks for posting this. I'll be following a similar path in about a month. Glad to hear how easy and problem free it was for you.Just flew into Paris yesterday from the States. We did the same thing 3 weekends ago on Mar 20: US -> CDG (Delta) -> BIQ (AF/Hop). We got boarding passes for the CDG and BIQ flights before leaving the US, and did not need the EU QR code for the flight to Biarritz. I was nervous about that, but in our instance it was not needed. We did pass through customs/immigration in CDG, of course, but I can't remember if they looked at our CDC card or just trusted the gate check in the US took care of that already. Thanks for this info. When do you show the EU QR code? Do you need it since you have already arrived in Paris and apparently, went through customs. I'll be flying in to Paris and taking an Air France flight to Biarritz from Terminal 2F. I could easily get the QR code but I'm not sure if i would need it. Thanks so much. I really appreciate your real time experience.
I just got back from France 3 days ago. There is no need for the EU QR code nor your handwritten Covid vaccination card. You just need to fill out the dPLF form prior to arrival at CDG. Coming home to US or Canada, you could be asked to present your vaccination card to be allowed to board the plane so you still need to bring it.What kind of verification did they do? I only have my hand written CDC card.
Depends where your flight is going.....since you stayed within france they wouldn't ask. If you had flown to Portugal you would have needed it or an antigen test. Flying into Spain there is also no test requirement.Have not been asked for it on either side of the border. Was told I would need it for the Biarritz flight but was not asked to show it prior to boarding. I guess I bought a 36E souvenir piece of paper.
Where did you get the SIM card from? And how often is the flight from Paris to Biarritz? ThanksWhy did you bother? You are already there! Where will you now need the QR code??
You might get better answers yo your questions if you start your own thread(s).Where did you get the SIM card from? And how often is the flight from Paris to Biarritz? Thanks
We are flying into Madrid from the States on May 18th. Can you please confirm that there is no testing requirement to enter Spain? Any insight on navigating Covid restrictions would be appreciated.
