Is it very hard to find the way in the camino del norte?

This is my first time on the trail and I have almost no sense of directions. I'd decided to go via camino del Norte but now I'm having second thoughts because I've heard that there are less road marks along the Camino del Norte.

Should I take the Camino de Frances instead?

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
The Camino del Norte is not different than the others. You follow the markers and yellow arrows. Just be on the lookout not to miss any. Furthermore, you will not be alone and will certainly find walking companions.

Have a good one,

Hi

You can get lost on the Norte. but if you pay attention to what came before it quite easy to retrace your steps ( usually no more than 100 meters) and find the camino again on the other possible route. This does happen a lot in Asturias. Galicia and Cantabria are are bit better marked so it doesnt usually happen, and i cant vouch for the Basque areas, but people i have met said they are ok.

absolutely not - had no problems at all - barely used the guidebook - its a fabulous walk and people are only too happy to help you out - check out the tips I uploaded for 5 weeks on camino del norte, primativo and finisterre - highly recommended!

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.

Take the route you want to take, otherwise stay at home.
