Al the optimist and I hope to meet a few other forum members tonight.

7 pm, cafe Tertulia

Go down the stairs in front of the parador, walk to the first busy street (Pombal). Cross the street and the Tertulia is on the left.

Hope to see some more forum members!

And since Kinky is walking into Santiago tomorrow, there will be forum members there tomorrow as well.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

€83,-
Join our full-service guided tour of the Basque Country and let us pamper you!
I will be there tomorrow as well! See you then.

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
Last night Kinky, jerbear, and I had a rip roaring good time at Tertulia. Pictures of all these meet ups to come soon as I'm back with access to a computer.

Though the Tertulia is a great little place, its outdoor seating is less than ideal because it's right on the busy Rua Pombal. I had been there before in cooler months and didn't realize how noisy it would be outside. So maybe we should rethink this.

But in any event, I really enjoyed meeting everyone over the last few days. My instincts seem to have been borne out --those who gather with other forum members in Santiago have walked untravelled Caminos and are unlikely to have the same social group in Santiago as those who walked the Frances, etc.

And I also got a couple of good ideas for future caminos!

Buen camino, from the Santiago airport, Laurie

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Indeed it was nice although a shortish one. Third time with Laurie after Leon and La Robla. First time with Jerry and today I ran into him on the street again. I kinda knew that would happened but never thought it will be next day

Thanks for good company!

I'm uploading the first pic that was taken and sending the rest to Laurie to decide which one is the best.

Off to Fisterra tomorrow...
