As you will know these tips came from UK residents with a GBP 200 prize at stake.

I was gratified that three routes I have followed were included.

And also gratified that one was only mentioned as a continuation.

I note Via Podiensis (Le Puy to Saint-Jean) had an early billing: in my view it is more interesting than that west of Saint-Jean.

Thats a very fair question Alwyn , i got rather sidetracked didnt i apologies.
I was going to follow the link and post about my feelings towards the French way but also the kindness shown to me whilst on the portugese way .
By the time i got to the link the contest if i can call it that had closed !
