My Camino 2014

On the 8th, September, 2014 I arrive at Rabanal Del Camino and was welcomed at the wonderful Albergue Gaucelmo by Betty Tuite. That evening I attended vespers with the Benedictine missionary monks in the church on the square and was privileged to read the part in English. Later as it was just getting dark and the last rays of the setting sun illuminated this beautiful church I was present when a French man approached the altar and sang two most hauntingly beautiful hymns in the French language. He finished with the "Salve Regina" a hymn which means so much to me. Of all the wonderful experiences I have had this must rank in the top one or two.
