Time of past OR future Camino
Levante (2014-2016); Levante to Toledo (2017-2018), to be continued; Fisterra & Muxia (2018);
The city of Vallada (3.000 inhabitants), between Xativa and Moixent, has a new albergue, not only for pilgrim, but also for other 'senderistas' and lovers of nature.
It is not free, but I know not yet the prices.

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

€60,-
Great news!
Because in Manuel there is no option to sleep in polideportivo anymore this is very welcoming and is possible to rearrange stages. At least I would now do (distances are approximate):
- Valencia (start on the sea shore) - Silla: 26,4km
- Algemesi: 21,5
- Xativa: 25,2
- Vallada: 19,3
- La Font de la Figuera: 21,9
...
This way I could skip "new" albergue in Moixent which I don't really like much seeing the photos of it and reading reports. The old one at Cruz Roja building seemed much better with some outside space.

Good news for our camino in October!

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
Hi all,

I visited it last week-end.
It is an hostel, not a free albergue as in Moixent or La Font de la Figuera.
It has 42 beds, divided in:
- a two beds room for handicapped people,
- 2 rooms with 2 bunks
- 4 rooms with 4 bunks,
each room with a complete bath-room (with soap), bed-clothes, and a locker for each bed.
The laundry includes 2 washing-machines and an ironing one.
Also 2 common toilets with 2 washbasin, shower and WC.
A restaurant is included.
Location is some 800 m from the city-center, uphill, in the 'paraje de las ermitas', nice place.
The facility is property of the municipality, but management is subcontracted to a private fundación.
The contact is Karen, with telephone number (+34) 636 810 980
The prices are:
- bed/night 22 €
- bed/night with breakfast 24 €
- Bed/night with breakfast and one meal 31 €
- menu 9 €
These prices are those they announce now, just starting activity. Our Asociación will try to get better ones for pilgrim, but this is still to be done.
Buen Camino
Jean-Luc

Looks great. And the location is quiet I'd say with nice view over the valley.
Thanks for posting, Jean-Luc!

Thank you for all info about the new albergue, now planning to stay there Saturday 21April.

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.
