There is a new alberque in Leiria just beyond Trojal. It is very nice and I am staying there right now. It is called Quinta da Cortico, Estrada Caminho de Santiago n 88 3250-414 Rego da Murta 6,7km before Alvaiazere, next village after Tomar. 00351 926923994, www.quintadacortica.pt

My USA phone is not working here. According to their postcard it is "Camino de Santiago" N 88 3250

I remember walking by this wonderful old building with at tower! I am so glad someone transformed it for a wonderful use!
