Has anyone had experience with Oboz Traverse Mid boots? Camino 1 I wore a trusted pair of Merrell Moab 's. They were fine but I had about 1/2 size too small and at the end of 600mi the tread had worn smooth at the ball of the foot and it had gotten thin as well (ouch).

Shopping around for Camino 2 I've tried on the requisite 100 pairs of boots and have nearly settled on a pair of OBOZ TRAVERSE. These are quite nontraditional and I was wondering if anyone has any experience with them. I find them very comfortable walking around the house, but I know that that means little. I'm looking for some real life accounts.

Let me know!

P.S. My current 2nd choice is the trusty Keen Targhee II. It is very popular but I'm finding it just a bit less comfortable. Oddly the Keen and Oboz are very different in about every way but they ended up at the top of this year's list for me.

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

€149,-
I just got a pair of Oboz Bridger Mid boots, I've walked about 20 miles in them so far and love them! no hotspots or anything yet.
