Santiago to Porto

VAS

Victoria
Time of past OR future Camino
June 2018
Hi,

After my Camino, I am flying home from Porto Portugal. I have a reservation the night before my flight leaves at the Park Hotel Porto Aeroporto. (I wanted to be close to the airport because my flight is scheduled to leave at 7AM)

So, I was planning on taking a train to Porto the day before I fly out...

I was looking to book a Train from Santiago to Porto... can anyone tell me the train station(s) I should use when traveling from Santiago to Porto? I am using the Loco2.com website for booking.

Many thanks!
Victoria

Hiya. I'm no expert but did that trip 4 years ago. Santiago to Vigo, then Vigo to Porto on a very slow train! Nice trip though, and Porto train station is gorgeous.

Hello Victoria
My wife and I are also going to porto from Santiago. The train connections looked a bit messy (two trains ,a bus and a short walk ).We booked a bus on the rome to rio site ,one bus straightto Porto ,the Alsa bus I think even stops at Porto Airport.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
Porto is a wonderful little town, much to see and to do and to taste! Great place to get your last sello there in the cathedral, try to give it a day or two and not just bus in/fly out.

I went to the ALSA website and booked my Bus... many thanks!

I hadn't thought about getting my last stamp at the cathedral... many thanks for that suggestion... WILL DO!
