I agree with @Pafayac - late April is the lead up to one of the busiest times in SJPdP, which is the beginning of May. Last year April was the 3rd busiest months after May and September.

Another vote for "they just like it stronger in the south". I also found that to be true when I walked the VDLP. Luckily, I like my coffee very strong so I was a happy walker.
