A friend and I are planning a 10-day walking Camino, and we want to end up in Santiago. Any suggestions on where to start?

Hi Mary, I would say begin in Ponferrada .That's about 200km give or take.

If you are planning to do the Camino Frances, yes, Ponferrada would be the best starting point for that time frame. It has excellent bus connections to nearly everywhere in Spain. Buen Camino, SY
