Small Question: Buying a Metro-ticket online for Paris

Time of past OR future Camino
[Camino Francés - June 2013]
[South Downs Way - June 2014]
[Annapurna Circuit - April 2015]
I've got a small question: Which site can I use to buy a ticket for the Metro in Paris? I've got my entire journey figured out, travelling by TGV from The Netherlands to Bayonne in France, and then find a bus or train and go to SJPDP. There's just one thing:

I need to quickly get from Paris Nord to Paris Montparnasse. I know that I can use Metro line 4 (purple) that goes towards 'Pte d'Orleans'. I read online that it can take a while to buy your ticket at the station, so I thought I'd be smart and buy mine upfront. Is this possible, and if so, what website can I use?

Thanks in advance!

hello ramon,

there are many vending machines in the station. you can also buy tickets at the window. a regular ticket for one zone i think costs 1.70 euros. use coin if you have them or get some coins to use them. you should not have any problem.

this website below will provide all the info about the paris metro and also how to use the machine.
