Sporting Goods Store in St. Jean

Does the sporting goods store in St. Jean sell pairs of hiking poles? If so, what are the general prices. I want to only have a carry on bag and may leave my poles at home...thanks

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
I carried my pack on the plane and put my hiking poles, razor and pocket knife in a nylon bag and tossed them in luggage. That way if the hiking poles got lost, I had control of the important things I would need for my Camino, and would not be delayed unnecessarily at the beginning.

I hope this is a helpful suggestion.

There's a huge Decathalon just outside of Pamplona - took a bus from the central square, and they had all the equipment a pilgrim could need.
