Joseph Cullinane, author of The Cuckoo & The Pilgrim has very kindly gave us permission to serialise his book on SpanishSteps.eu.
Joe’s book is a record of a walk along the Camino De Santiago in France and Spain and could it be used as a rough guide by anyone wishing to follow this medieval pilgrim route.
It is also for the general reader who is interested in experiencing a countryside; the sights and sounds of nature; chance encounters on the road; ancient villages; anecdotes; bits of history and all that goes with following a pilgrim route at a medieval pace.
Over the next week or so we will be printing selected extracts starting today.
