Visit to Azpeitia from Pamplona or from Burgos?

Hello,
I am starting on the 15th of June in Pamplona and I have 36 days to arrive in Santiago on 20th of July, explore Santiago on 21st (Muxia probably), and take the train/bus to Madrid (morning) 22nd before heading home. How do I include a visit to Azpeitia to see St. Ignatius de Loyola in one of my stops? Should I stay an extra day in Pamplona and head to Azpeitia first and then bus back to Pamplona or do the visit from Burgos? Where do I take the bus? Can it be a day trip? I had already booked for one night in Pamplona.

Also, where do I take the bus/train (which ever is faster) from Madrid to Pamplona morning of June 14th?

Thank you and I appreciate any advice!

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

We recently walked from Barcelona to Pamplona and then took a bus to San Sebastian with another bus connection to Azpeitia (towards Loyola where we started the Loyola route). The buses run throughout the day and into the evening for both routes. I have attached the schedule for the bus from San Sebastian to Azpetitia.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
Thank you Lindam for your reply. The schedule is helpful
