I just wanted to alert everyone that I make no apologies for sometimes giving pilgrims a freight as they pass me as I always like to beep my appreciation "Buen Camino..." from the comforts of my car..... When I did the camino last year I was surprised by the number of motorists who did that to me as we entered Redondela & I always appreciated that alot as it helps you to keep motivated etc...no offence intended !!

Or from the comfort of your outdoor cafe seat in Baiona last summer. You gave us a hearty "Buen Camino Peregrinos", as we passed by on the way to our hostel! We stopped and had a great chat with you.

No apologies needed! I actually titled one of my journal entries We got us a Convoy! on the day we walked into Santo Domingo de la Calzada. After Azofra we paralleled the N-120 for a short time and a series of trucks tooted their air horns and the drivers waved and cheered. It's a fond memory and really added to the camaraderie as well as motivating us onwards.
