Hi pilgrims. I drove from St Jean to Castrojeriz today.

No snow at all on the road route to Roncesvalles - the whole day was under a beautiful sunny blue sky, Pamplona was about 19 degrees and Burgos in the early 20's. There were water mirages on the roads!

Forecast for the next week is more of the same with Meseta temperatures going up to about 26C.

Everything is green - well, actually a variety of beautiful shades of green - that luscious fresh spring green - makes you just want to stroke the planet!

Quite a few pilgrims out there. Was just about to help a man who looked pretty sunstroked and was drooping on a milestone - no hat - but as I stopped he was put into a police car ..... wear a hat now

Buen Camino!
