I should have added that this town is a gem. I actually extended my stay for a second day night. It has a rich history, a wonderful museum displaying the regalia of their annual fete and some very good restaurants. If you are luck the boat will be running on the Canal Midi and you can take a tour.
Hy biarritzdon, thank you for you interest in this picture. It is in fact a very nice city. I stopped just for breakfast and the continued my camino. The previous night I have slept in Castromonte and there was no bar open when i left. Then I continued to Cuenca de Campos. I like very much this part of Spain and this Camino. Very solitary.
